PEANUT BUTTER CUSTARD


This custard hits all the spots!

It's thick, creamy, sweet, nutty and topped with an incredible healthy hot fudge sauce.

On top of that it's even healthy, so what else do you want?


RECIPE 3 SERVINGS PB CUSTARD

Custard:

-3/4 cup/180ml plant milk

-2 TBSP corn starch

-2 TBSP peanut butter

- 1 cup/250ml coconut milk, full fat

-3 TBSP maple syrup

-a pinch of salt

Hot fudge sauce:

-2 TBSP nut butter

-3 TBSP maple syrup

-2-3 TBSp hot water

-2 TBSP cocoa powder


INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Whisk up the first three ingredients in a sauce pan, then add the remaining ingredients.

2. Bring it on medium heat to a simmer and stir until it has thickened.

3. Fill the custard in 3 ramekins and refrigerate for at least 1 hour whilst whisking up the hot fudge sauce.

4. Serve the custard with a spoonful of the sauce and enjoy!
